Addressing SDG Goals 1 and 2

  • International Welfare Response
    In the wake of the COVID-19 crisis, which decimated businesses, jobs, and livelihoods across the world, we decided to join in the relief effort to provide aid and donated a total of €300 over six months (March-July 2020) to be dispensed in two countries: The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) via one of the largest student non-profits- VOIS Cyprus (Voice of International Students) and the Cyprus International University Christian Fellowship- CIUCF and The Federal Republic of Nigeria via the Deeper Life Bible Church, Olayemi District, Ayobo Lagos and The Redeemed Christian Church of God; RCCG, Cloud of Glory Parish, Baruwa Ipaja Lagos.
  • Local Welfare Response
    In the wake of the economic crisis in the Nigerian economy, businesses, jobs, and livelihoods have been decimated across the world, we decided to join in the relief effort to provide aid and donated a total of €170 to be dispensed in two churches: The Deeper Life Bible Church, Olayemi District, Ayobo Lagos and The Redeemed Christian Church of God; RCCG, Cloud of Glory Parish, Baruwa Ipaja Lagos

Addressing SDG Goal 4

  • We donated $50 to support under-privileged children in the new september 2024 academic year at the Olayemi district of Deeper Life Bible Church in Ayobo.
  • Improving access to computers in primary schools
    Many schools and by extention, children in Nigeria do not have access to computers or know how to use them. This is why in January 2024, we pledged a total of €130 to purchase three (3) desktop computers with necessary applications installed for two primary schools located in the city of Lagos, Nigeria- Tender-tots Nursery and Primary school, Isolo Oshodi-Isolo Local Government & His Fullness Schools, Ayobo, Ayobo LCDA, Alimosho Local Government.

  • Medical Outreach- RCCG
    We partnered with The Redeemed Christian Church of God; RCCG, Cloud of Glory Parish, Baruwa Ipaja Lagos to sponsor a medical outreach within the Baruwa community

Addressing SDG Goals 5, 10 and 11

  • Reaching out in Ayobo, Alimosho Local Goverment, Nigeria
    We donated $60 to support the work at one of the Deeper Life Bible churches in the area to support the community work that they do
  • Reaching out to Northern Nigeria
    Kabara is a title used in prehistoric times by the Hausa people to symbolize a female monarch. Between the 7th – 9th century, often referred to as the “Kabara period”, a matriarchal royal system of governance was in force, thus developing into the legacy of the Hausa people.

    Having suffered a lot of set back due to ethnic and religious crises, Kabara Community Development Initiative (KCDI) is focused on improving the lives of people living in Northern Nigeria through timely intervention programs like agricultural aid, medical outreach, and educational support. We provided free graphic design services to aid these programs. See their website.  
  • Joining hands to end rape in Nigeria
    A youth-led Not-for-Profit Organization advocating against sexual violence, providing prevention mechanisms, and supporting survivors with psychosocial services. STER advocates for rape survivors who can’t speak about their ordeal due to stigmatization, by enlightening our community on the need to end rape and victim-blaming.

    STER Initiative won an award for the Best Use of Social Media by an NGO in Africa at the 2014 Social Media Awards Africa. We provided free graphic design services to aid STER in these efforts. See their website 
  • Reaching out to Middle-belt Nigeria
    The purpose of AboCoders, an initiative of the Aspilos Foundation, is the provision of secure and sustainable livelihoods for young women in Northern Nigeria using ICT training with an emphasis on software development as a means of empowerment. We donated a laptop to aid Abcoders in this effort. See their website.  
  • Supprting Children in Lagos, Nigeria
    Bethesda Child Support Agency (Bethesda) is a non-profit organization established in 2001 by Mrs. Nkoyo Rapu. The primary focus of Bethesda is to mobilize efforts of government, private sector, and other development agencies towards securing educational opportunities for children in poor communities. We provided free graphic design services to aid the Bethesda Child Support Agency in these efforts. See their website.  
  • Promoting mental health
    The Unmask Foundation seeks to create a culture that recognizes brokenness, nurtures healing, and restores wholeness, particularly for young women. We provided free photography services for their event via Wakafire Photography. Find out more about them here 
  • Documenting smiles at correctional centres
    The Bake for Change Development seeks to help kids at Special Correctional Centres across Lagos State. We provided free photography services for their event via Wakafire Photography. Find out more about them here.  
Policy and Advocacy

Addressing SDG Goals 11 and 16

  • Joining the effort to close period poverty in Nigeria
    The Safe and Smart Foundation is bridging the gap between sanitary pad accessibility, proper menstrual hygiene, reproductive health, AND Rural Nigerian women and girls. The foundation provided free graphic design services to aid the Safe and Smart Foundation in these efforts. Read about them here  
  • Building Tech awareness in North Cyprus
    Olmak means "Be" or "Become". Olmak (formerly called "Tech-TRNC") is a community to inspire and drive awareness of the opportunities that exist with/ in technology in North Cyprus, create a talent pool, and connect the talent pipeline to vacancies from employers globally while engaging stakeholders from the private and public sectors to the highest levels of government to advance favorable policies for growth, talent attraction and retention. Olmak has been featured on National Television in North Cyprus in the Zikoko publicaiton, and in the Tvine publication, UK.

  • Joining the fight against Human Trafficking
    We joined our friends in North Cyprus to raise awareness about human trafficking on the siland especially from countries like Nigeria, reach-out to relevant authorities to rescue trafficking girls from Nigeria and contribute to North Cyprus passing a bill against human trafficking.
  • Empowering rural women in North Cyprus
    We worked with independent consultants to provide strategy and advisory on the world bank policy on social empowerment for rural women in northern Cyprus as part of the confidence building measures (CBMs) to reunite Cyprus after 50 years.

  • Building Tech awareness in North Cyprus
    Olmak means "Be" or "Become". Olmak (formerly called "Tech-TRNC") is a community to inspire and drive awareness of the opportunities that exist with/ in technology in North Cyprus, create a talent pool, and connect the talent pipeline to vacancies from employers globally while partnering with local stakeholders and hosting workshops to train local talent. Olmak has been featured on National Television in North Cyprus in the Zikoko publicaiton, and in the Tvine publication, UK.

  • Ensuring marketplace readiness
    We were invited by the Covenant Christian Centre, Lagos, The Guiding Light Aseembly to train young people on smartphone photography. We also partnered with TECNO Nigeria to train over 200 business owners on product photography.
  • Providing consulting and direction
    Post Covid, we provided strategy direction for businesses to help them pivot, structure payments, maintain cashflow and stay afloat. We also helped entreprenuurs who wished to transit back into a “9-5” craft better CVs to position them for available jobs.
